MISSION STATEMENT
To provide scholarships and grants for post-secondary students.
To promote higher education for women of all ages.
To cultivate community service and development opportunities.
To promote health and safety awareness.
To provide financial empowerment/ educational opportunities for youth and women of all ages.
These objectives are carried out through advocacy, public education and a variety of projects and activities which will have a positive impact on the communities in the Chicagoland area. At the forefront of our community thrust are the vulnerable, the disenfranchised and at-risk families.

The mission of the Beacon of Light Foundation is to provide scholarships and grants for post-secondary students; promote higher education for women of all ages; cultivate community service and development opportunities; promote health and safety awareness, and provide financial empowerment/educational opportunities for youth and women of all ages. These objectives are carried out through advocacy, public education and a variety of projects and activities which will have a positive impact on the communities in the Chicagoland area.
