The Beacon of Light Foundation and Eta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is excited to host CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 2022, our Annual Pre-Mother’s Day Scholarship Fundraiser. This nationally broadcast event will be streamed live on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. We will have nationally acclaimed DJ Vince Adams, who will serve as our program host. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be earmarked for scholarships for college-bound youth we serve in our communities.

Eta Xi Sigma Alumnae Chapter was chartered in 1992 in Oak Lawn, Illinois, by 46 influential women, and currently has over 285 members. We have awarded over $150,000 in scholarships, since the inception of our scholarship fundraiser, to Chicagoland high school seniors who attend colleges and universities, including HBCUs.
